The Chinese New Year is approaching, it will be on this sunday (18th February). Chinese calender is a lunar calender, not a solar calender like the western, so every chinese new year and western new year does not coincide on the same day and month. One month before the festival the city has been ornament with lot of chinese new year motive lights and lanterns. Today the called "Fa Si" (Flower Market) have been open until the chinese new year. There is a lot of flowers to buy and meaning things, they all bring luck for the people. Everything that the chinese people put into the store to buy for the chinese new year have lucky meanings, like on foods, flowers, another ornaments, etc.
It use to say that who walk on the Flower Market will bring good luck, it was therefore that I was there lol.
